Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a recently introduced file format as a successor to the MP3. The AAC file format offers better audio quality than MP3 data. It is also half of the size of MP3 file format. The other advantages it has over the MP3 are: AAC file format is capable of handling much higher and lower sound frequencies and provide up to 48 audio channels; it also allows the formation of low latency audio necessary for two way communication. For instance, AAC can be used to compress telephonic conversations where MP3 would cause delay in the audio. MP3 though popular in the market, doesn’t possess the same features as AAC has. Follow the instructions below to convert MP3 to AAC.
