How to Convert RM to AVI

RM (Real Media) is a preprietary multimedia container format by Real Network. It contains Real Audio and Real Video data which can be played using a player called Real Player.
If you don’t have Real Player, you might not be able to run RealAudio or Real Video files. To play these files, usually people prefer to conver them to other audio or video formats. This tutorial will guide you how to convert RM to AVI which is more widely supported format.
You’ll Need:
- YASA MP4 Video Converter
Instructions:
- Download and Install YASA MP4 Video Converter.
- Laucnh the program and click the “Open” button at extreme top left.
- Open the RM file(s) you want to convert to AVI.
- File(s) will be added to the conversion list. You can preview the files by click “Play” in the preview area.
- On the right you will see different output formats/profiles. Select “AVI – Audio-Video Interleaved (.avi)” from the list.
- The next screen will be “Output Video File” where you can set output folder and filename. The default folder is “Videos” but you can always change it.
- You can also adjsut resolution and other settings here.
Warnings:
- Trail version of YASA MP4 Video Converter only allows 5 minutes of conversion.
